The President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, does not intend to “just give money” to small businesses, which he says are “idle”. Lukashenko advised businessmen not to sit down and work, instead of waiting for documents from the state.

As you know, despite the coronavirus pandemic, the Republic of Belarus has not declared quarantine. However, some representatives of small businesses have suspended their restaurants, cafes and other establishments in order to protect themselves, their staff and their visitors from the coronavirus.
In this difficult situation for small businesses, President Lukashenko advised them to adapt by themselves to the new conditions. He noted that the state could not “take it from someone and give it to those who messed around”.
“No one will give anything to anyone. And if someone wants to be given, let them say where to get it? What are we going to take away from the people who are tense today and give to those who are messing around today? It will not happen, ”said Lukashenko.
The Belarusian leader advised restaurateurs to distribute food to employees of companies or families who are at home in the event of isolation.
