Tourist season 2020: Turkey will start receiving foreign tourists in June
Turkey plans to open the tourist season at the end of May and in June to start accepting foreigners.

According to Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Yersoy, it is planned to open domestic flights gradually in late May and in June – after prior coordination with certain countries – international.

Hotels and restaurants will have to follow strict rules to prevent the spread of coronavirus. This is to ensure the distance between people and the implementation of hygiene rules. Hotel and restaurant staff will take special training courses.

Ersoy added that before the start of the coronavirus crisis, Turkey should receive 58 million tourists in 2020. Now, according to its forecasts, only 60% of hotels should open.
Reminder: on April 27, it became known that hotels in Turkey will abandon the “buffet” and the all-inclusive system after the end of the coronavirus epidemic. Food and drinks will be given to vacationers exclusively by the employees of the establishments.
