The COZ advises to permanently boil drinking water. Do not use water of questionable quality from unverified sources. It is advisable to use bottled water for drinking.

In case of flooding, pollution of water sources – contact the local authorities. In accordance with Article 18 of the Ukrainian Law on the Public Health and Epidemic Welfare, local authorities are required to provide residents of cities and other establishments with drinking water, the quantity and quality of which must meet the requirements of health standards.

For food, use only quality products. Be sure to heat meat, fish, eggs, etc. Rinse vegetables and fruits well with potable water, for children’s consumption – rinse with boiling water.

Respect the rules of personal hygiene and make sure that children respect them.

In case of symptoms such as fever, dizziness, headache, abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhea, runny nose, cough, yellowing of the skin, sclera of the eyes, rash on the body, appearance of ulcers, etc. seek immediate medical attention. Help me.

In addition, health facilities have reminded that all flooded goods are subject to disinfection.

As Ukrinform reported, the intense precipitation from 22 to 24 June has complicated the flood situation in the regions of Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Lviv, Transcarpathia and Ternopol. In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, 3 people were killed.

In the western regions, 285 establishments, 9,000,994 homes and 8 midwifery centers remain flooded; 500 km of roads, 135 bridges and 280 m of dams were damaged.

On June 25, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to send approximately 700 million UAH to western Ukraine for priority measures to overcome the effects of the floods.
