Hassan Rezayefar, Iranian head of the UIA accident investigation team, said he was ready to decrypt the black boxes of a Ukrainian plane in one of the European laboratories. Representatives from 8 countries were also invited.

But due to the worldwide coronavirus pandemic, not all representatives can arrive at the designated laboratory. Therefore, they turned to Iran with a request to postpone the decryption process:

“Iran has sent invitations to all countries. But they all sent a response – now and in the near future, they won’t be able to witness the decryption. Because of the coronavirus, there is no way to travel. Consequently, we have postponed the decryption of the black boxes for a more favorable period. “

Recall that we previously reported that Canada needs an appropriate investigation into the UIA crash.
