Ukraine can help Russia get rid of sanctions: Klimkin concerned about Yermak decision

Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin believes that the renewal of the membership of the TCG by Ukraine will not lead to progress in resolving the conflict in Donbas. In addition, the politician sees a serious danger in the new initiatives of the head of the presidential office, Andrei Yermak.

Pavel Klimkin believes that the Russian Federation can use the extension of the TKG format from Ukraine for its own purposes. Klimkin believes that the Russian Federation can also expand the membership of negotiators, but only at the expense of representatives of the illegal republics. According to Klimkin, the Russian Federation wants to do everything it can to make the TKG negotiations in the eyes of the world community look like negotiations between Ukraine and Ordlo. Thus, the Russian Federation will no longer look like an aggressor country and will be able to obtain the lifting of Western sanctions.

Klimkin believes that Yermak’s new ideas only help the Russian Federation get rid of the sanctions.

“It is a step towards Russia. Sanctions do not act instantly, but they are effective, especially in times of crisis. It is not worth helping Russia soften them, “writes Klimkin.

Earlier, we reported that the head of OP Ermak had spoken of plan “B” in Donbass.
