Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, Vadim Priestayko, said that Ukraine had its own priorities in terms of dialogue with Europe and that the conditions for association with the EU would be reviewed.
It is reported Politeka, reports “MFN”.
Pristayko notes that the domestic manufacturers are extremely dissatisfied with the association’s current conditions. They are not satisfied with a large number of quotas for sale without the right of Ukrainian products.
“Today is the time for Ukraine to defend its own national interests. The historic moment has come and we must review the conditions of the association, this awaits the national manufacturers. Most quotas are not suitable for the Ukrainian side and for producers in particular. We are entering a new phase of contact with the EU. I hope we can reconsider the trade agreements, Ukraine has valid reasons for this, “said Pristayko.
He noted that in addition to trade, Ukraine intends to develop many other areas of relations with the EU, including the question of security.
We will recall, as indicated above, that a provocation was organized against Usik: the ATO combatant could not contain his emotions.
