Ukraine included in EU Health Committee as observer
Ukraine has been included in the Health Committee of the European Union as an observer.
This was announced during a briefing by Minister of Health Maxim Stepanov, reports a correspondent for Ukrinform.
“A few days ago we received a letter from the European Commission, Ukraine was admitted to the Health Committee of the European Union as an observer. This is a very important event for us because this committee includes all the main EU countries, “said Stepanov.
He noted that at committee meetings, questions were discussed about the response of different countries to the challenges facing the world today as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. “We are very happy to join us and I am sure it will benefit Ukraine and the health system,” said Stepanov.
