Sergey Sivokho talked about it in an interview with the publication “Today”, MFN Reports.

Former adviser to the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Sergei Sivokho, believes that in terms of settling the situation in Donbass, “Ukraine is the subject of negotiations” between the countries of the West and the Russian Federation. According to him, each party pursues its own interests. Especially in this situation, the Russians want to gain benefits for themselves.

“The Russians have their own interest in this situation: they want as much as possible to negotiate themselves with this situation. Do you understand that our country is now the subject of negotiations? Said Sivokho.

Sivokho noted that for Ukraine, it is important to end the war in Donbas. At the same time, Sivokho believes that aid from Western countries should not be expected. According to him, the EU and US sanctions against the Russian Federation are all aid to Ukraine.

“They did everything they could: they announced sanctions and did not lift them. Nonetheless, the sanctions somehow work slowly, ”said Sivokho.

As you know, earlier, Sergei Sivokho in one of his interviews called the Russian-Ukrainian war in the Donbass “internal conflict”. And shortly after the scandal with the presentation of the “reconciliation platform”, Sivokho was sacked from his post as advisor to the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.

Earlier, we reported that in the “DPR”, it was stated whether the curfew would be canceled for Easter.
