The head of the presidential office, Andrei Yermak, as well as representatives of the Trilateral Contact Group held a meeting with journalists, during which he again announced the imperative conditions for Ordlo.
This is reported by the NPF, referring to news.online.ua.

According to him, until Ukraine regains control of the eastern border and receives confirmation from the OSCE to normalize the situation and create the conditions necessary for the free expression of the will of the citizens, the local elections in the occupied part of the Donbass cannot take place.
“Our position is based on the standards of the Copenhagen Convention, which underlies the electoral laws of almost all civilized countries”, – said Yermak.
This convention expressly states that fair democratic elections cannot be held in a country where the state border is not entirely controlled by the state.
The head of the OP expressed the hope that the updated composition of the WG will be able to move forward in resolving this important issue during the negotiations in Minsk.
Earlier, elections were reported in the uncontrolled Donbas territory.
