Ukraine received the first tranche from the IMF



The fact that Ukraine received the first tranche from the IMF, according to the new program, was told by the head of the National Bank of Ukraine, Yakov Smoly.

As Smoly noted, today, June 12, Ukraine received $ 2.1 billion – that’s the amount of the first tranche.

The NBU chief also said the money did not come directly from the International Monetary Fund, but from IMF member states:

“From yesterday, money began to be transferred to us: in euros, dollars, pounds, yuan. Today, the total amount, $ 2.1 billion, is already with us. “
