Ukraine’s struggle with COVID-19 will be documented in the archives – Ministry of Justice
The President of the National Archives Service of Ukraine, Anatoly Khromov, called on the heads of state archival institutions to ensure the collection of documents and to document the events of the epidemic, the course and spread of COVID- 19.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
As indicated above, all decisions taken at state level and in the private sector, aimed at ensuring the social and economic security of the population, the health and well-being of people, their daily life, should be documented. and preserved because they will have value for the present and the future.
The National Archives Service of Ukraine, for example, calls on scientists, the public and all parties concerned to support this initiative and help public archive institutions to build themed collections.

The ministry informs that the importance of collecting and documenting the unprecedented decisions of the governments of the countries of the world in the field of health care aiming to fight against the pandemic and not only is recognized by the archivists of the whole world and supported by the International Council on Archives.
