The Ukrainian doctors, who helped their Italian counterparts for three weeks in the fight against COVID-19, are now back in Ukraine.
This was announced on Facebook by the Ukrainian ambassador to Italy, Yevhen Perelygin.
“Today, after almost three weeks of work in hospitals in the cities of Pesaro and Urbino, our doctors are leaving the Marche region and returning to Ukraine,” he wrote.
The diplomat added that, while saving Italian patients, Ukrainian doctors have received important experience from their Italian colleagues against Covid-19, which will now be used to treat coronavirus patients in our country.
