Ukrainian marathon runner Borisenko found dead on Mount Fuji
Ukrainian marathon runner and alpine ski trainer Aleksey Borisenko was found dead on Mount Fuji.
According to sportarena, Borisenko’s body was discovered on May 12, but it was not identified until June 18.
The athlete disappeared in late February – he was in Japan, where he planned to climb Mount Fuji. The last time Borisenko was seen in a hotel in Tokyo, after which communication with him was lost.

In March, Borisenko’s objects were found at an altitude of 2,400 meters. According to Japanese media reports, the athlete climbed the mountain alone, then an accident happened to him.
