54% of Ukrainians are more afraid of the economic consequences of quarantine restrictions than of coronavirus epidemics.
Witness the results of a survey conducted by the International Institute of Sociology in Kiev (KIIS).
“54% are more afraid of the economic consequences of quarantine restrictions than coronavirus epidemics (43% in March); 26% are more afraid of the coronavirus epidemic in Ukraine (34% in March); 13% are not afraid of the first or the second, considering that the situation normalizes in one to two months (in March – 14%) “, indicates the report.
KIIS conducted a survey from April 7 to 11 using the CATI (computer assisted telephone interview) method using a random selection of telephone numbers.

The sample is representative of the adult population (aged 18 and over) of Ukraine. It does not include territories which are temporarily not controlled by the Ukrainian authorities – the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, certain regions of Donetsk and the regions of Lugansk. During the investigation, 2,000 interviews were conducted.
As reported on April 14, in Ukraine, 3,372 cases of Covid-19 have been laboratory confirmed, of which 98 fatal, 119 patients have recovered.
