Ukrainians cannot cross the border using the electronic passport in the “Action” application – STSU
The State Border Service has denied any information regarding the possibility that Ukrainians from June 1 may travel abroad to present an electronic passport and an electronic passport to travel abroad via the unified Web portal for electronic services “Portal Diya”, using the same mobile application.
This was reported by the GNSU press service.
“Today, Ukrainian citizens can only cross the Ukrainian state border if they have the necessary passport documents, including passports of a Ukrainian citizen to travel abroad and passports of a defined Ukrainian citizen by Ukrainian laws governing the registration of persons at the border. At the same time, the presentation of electronic documents in the Diya mobile application is only possible within the country in cases that comply with the list clearly defined by the relevant resolution, “said the press service.
The National Border Service of Ukraine has drawn attention to the fact that the information disseminated in the media is false and cannot be used by Ukrainian citizens as one of the rules for crossing the national border of Ukraine. ‘Ukraine.
It should be noted that the government has really adopted the decree “on the implementation of a pilot project concerning the use of electronic reflection of the information contained in the passport of a Ukrainian citizen in the form of a card and electronic reflection information contained in the passport of a Ukrainian citizen to travel abroad “(April 15, 2020 No. 278). Thus, the electronic passports in “Дії” are digital analogs of the paper documents, according to the decision. This standard becomes particularly relevant in quarantine, since digital passports can be used as an identity card in case a citizen is arrested by the national police, as well as to receive mail services, etc.
