“With regard to the information that the British Embassy posted on Facebook on the alleged need for Ukrainian citizens to authorize the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to travel abroad, we inform the following: the current legislation does not establishes no additional restrictions for Ukrainian citizens traveling abroad. In this context, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed the foreign diplomatic missions in Ukraine of the national border checkpoints which are temporarily not functioning.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not given any other information on the restriction of travel abroad or the need to obtain permits for the departure of Ukrainian citizens from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, in particular those who have a residence permit abroad, “said the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
