UPO does not transfer main session yet – Lyashko
The current epidemiological situation in Ukraine allows for an independent external evaluation in time, however, indicators have been identified by which a final decision will be made regarding the date of the UPR.
This was announced on June 13 by the Deputy Minister of Health – the chief medical officer of health of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko following the results of the meeting of the Commission for Technological and Environmental Security and Emergencies, reports a correspondent from Ukrinform.
“Today’s epidemiological situation allows us to conduct an independent external evaluation, which is scheduled for June 25,” said Mr. Lyashko.

At the same time, he noted that, despite the growth of laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19, the TEB and ES Commission examined two indicators, the evaluation of which on June 20-22, will indicate the possibility of carrying out a UPR on the date or the proposed postponement.
At the same time, Lyashko recalled that the government’s decision to conduct a WNV test had been transferred to online mode.
As reported, as of June 13, 30,506 cases of COVID-19 had been laboratory confirmed in Ukraine and 753 new cases per day.
