Venediktova claims that the applicant in the case against her appears in one of the OG proceedings
Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova claims that the applicant in the criminal case opened against her by NABU is a person who appears in one of the proceedings of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
This is stated in Venediktov’s video message, published by the Prosecutor General’s Office.
“The court ordered NABU to start production at the request of the citizen. The applicant in this case is a person who appears in one of the procedures of the Office of the Prosecutor General, “said Venediktova.
According to the attorney general, she informed the NAZK of a possible conflict of interest and decided to remove the chief prosecutor and the attorney general from the office for this production.
She stressed that she respected law enforcement agencies, “has no doubts about their professionalism and decency, which they should show to all citizens of Ukraine”.

Therefore, my actions were and now exist only within the framework of the law … I would like to say – the Prosecutor General’s Office will defend the law, to which everyone is equal, “said Venediktova.
Earlier, the Anti-Corruption Center reported that the NABU had initiated criminal proceedings against the Attorney General Irina Venediktova. The case concerns the non-declaration of ownership. In particular, we are talking about watches valued at over $ 10,000.
