“Today, we are not only protecting Ukrainian citizens from counterfeiting and injecting information from Russian social networks, but we are also ensuring cybersecurity for representatives of business, government and educational institutions. After all, any Russian postal or antivirus service can be used to the detriment of Ukraine. Therefore, the risks must be minimized. By blocking these resources and programs, we are concerned about the security of the country as a whole, ”said Bakanov.
He also proposed to create and operate in Ukraine a unified registry of software authorized for use in the information and telecommunications systems of the state. According to SBU cyber experts, this will limit the purchase and use of banned software and create favorable conditions for the development of the national IT sector.
