Refat Chubarov noted that serious freshwater problems have started in the Crimea annexed by Russia. According to Chubarov, the problem of a shortage of fresh water will become even more acute in the summer of 2020. Chubarov reminded that the Russian army in Crimea needs water. Therefore, the representative of the Tatar people of Crimea suggests that in July 2020, a radical decision can be taken in the Russian Federation.

“It is possible that the Russian authorities are carrying out military action,” said Chubarov.

According to Chubarov, the Kremlin needs the Ukrainian territories which can supply Crimea with fresh water. In other words, we are talking about the southern territories of Ukraine.

Chubarov also does not rule out that Moscow could solve the problem of a shortage of fresh water on the peninsula in another way. The chairman of the Mejlis of the Tatar people of Crimea does not exclude that the Russian Federation will continue to put pressure on Ukraine and Kiev’s request to supply water from the Dnieper to Crimea.

“The Russian Federation can attract a third party. So, for example, it was in 2015, ”said Chubarov.

The representative of the Tatar people of Crimea believes that the authorities should be ready so that the Russian Federation can soon increase political pressure on Kiev or even move to a violent scenario.

Earlier, we reported that the Kremlin had laid serious charges against France and Germany.
