The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Yevgeny Yenin, expressed the main difference between the conflicts in eastern Ukraine and Transnistria. According to him, the presence of a border with the aggressor country is precisely the main difference between these conflicts.
This is reported by the NPF, referring to RBC-Ukraine.
The presence of a border with the Russian Federation is a key factor that distinguishes the conflicts in Transnistria and the Donbass. This opinion was expressed by the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevgeny Yenin.
The diplomat also noted that, despite the fact that Dmitry Kozak has started to oversee the issue of the Donbass in the Kremlin, with the participation of which the “Transdniestrian conflict” has been resolved, the key decision is still taken by Russian President Vladimir Putin . According to Enin, one should not overestimate the personnel changes in the Putin administration.
“The Russian aggression against Ukraine is not a matter of personalities,” said the Ukrainian deputy foreign minister.
The politician noted that the Russian Federation was not going to compromise its foreign policy interests, including in the Donbass.
For its part, according to Enin, Ukraine should strictly respect the so-called “red lines”.
Earlier, we reported that Kuleba had clearly identified the “red lines” of the Ukrainian side in the Donbass negotiations.
