WHO donates PCR kits to Ukraine

The World Health Organization has donated kits needed for a coronavirus PCR test to the Public Health Center of Ukraine.

“In order to ensure accurate and high-quality tests for COVID-19, the World Health Organization has transferred RNA isolation kits from 600 samples to the Public Health Center of Ukraine for testing. additional PCR tests, “it was reported.

The Center recalled that previously, WHO had transferred to COX PCR reagents for 8,000 reactions.

As noted, Minister of Health Maxim Stepanov during a briefing said that on April 17 in Ukraine, for the first time, more than 5,000 coronavirus tests were performed per day.

According to the cost center, in Ukraine, 5106 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19, of which 133 were fatal, 275 patients have recovered. During the day, 444 new cases were recorded.
