Vladimir Zelensky handed over the keys to the new accommodation to the victims of the June 21 explosion in one of the high-rise buildings in the Kiev neighborhood of Poznyaki.
The live video was posted on Facebook by the president’s office.
“We will hand over the keys to the 40 apartments in the coming days. Now we want to give you the first 12 apartments: for families where children, I think this is understandable, and separately we have given apartments to Anastasia, who lost her whole family, and to Anatolia, who lost his father, “said Zelensky.
He added that we are talking about new apartments in which it is necessary to carry out repairs, and turned to Vitali Klitschko, the mayor of Kiev, with a request for help in this regard.
As reported, on June 21 in the Darnitsky district of Kiev in one of the apartments of a high-rise building across the street. Solomiya Krushelnitskaya, 1/5 an explosion occurred, as a result of which there was a collapse of the floors.

The bodies of five dead were found at the scene of the explosion, five people were injured.
As a result of the explosion, criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 270 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of safety rules when handling gas, which resulted in serious consequences, deaths and injuried people).
The issue of the rapid purchase of apartments for the victims of the explosion in the Kiev skyscraper is under the control of President Vladimir Zelensky.
