The head of state paid tribute to his compatriots who went through the hell of the Nazi concentration camps and overcame all the trials.

As noted, on April 11 of each year, the UN-initiated world celebrates the International Day for the Liberation of Nazi Concentration Camp Prisoners.
It was on April 11, 1945 that prisoners from the largest concentration camp in Buchenwald raised an international uprising against the Nazis and were released. In total, more than 14,000 concentration camps of 18 million people operated in Germany and the countries it occupied.
