Zelensky-Kolomoisky: the battle for the IMF, in which the mono-majority died

By declaring quarantine in the country, the Ukrainian government was on the brink of a systemic economic and financial crisis. A gap in the budget, which is growing every day, must be filled urgently. For that, money is needed.

This is reported by the NPF with reference to

The Verkhovna Rada has adopted two important laws.

Under current conditions, only the International Monetary Fund can donate money, and with minimal interest. And if the physical price of IMF money is low, then the policy is somewhat different.

The fund has applied for Ukraine to adopt two major bills: on the land market and on the failure of bankrupt banks to return to former owners.

President Zelensky faced a difficult choice: to comply with IMF requirements, to deny the chance to return the bank to the former owners of Privatbak, and to put the enemy in the person of Kolomoisky, or to allow him to return the bank, but faced with the threat of default.

And the President of Ukraine decided in favor of the IMF and the state. The two legislative acts were adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on March 30.

At the same time, not a single vote on critical laws was supported by the entire People’s Serving faction.

Thus, we can assume that the price of these votes for Vladimir Zelensky was the war with Igor Kolomoisky and the real collapse of the mono-majority in the Verkhovna Rada.

“This is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it may be the end of the beginning “, – Winston Churchill.

Earlier, it was reported that Oschadbank has extended the validity of payment cards related to korgnavirus.
